Das Dharmapala Thangka Centre ist eine Thangka Malschule mit einer Erfahrung von mehr als 20 Jahren in der Kunst der traditionellen Thangka Malerei. In der vergangenen Jahren haben die Künstler des Zentrums an zahlreichen internationalen Ausstellungen teilgenommen. In Nepals Hauptstadt Kathmandu entstehen nach jahrhundertealten ikonographischen Vorlagen des tibetischen Buddhismus Thangkas in einer Detailtreue und Feinheit, wie sie nur sehr schwer an andere Stelle zu finden sind. Das Zentrum wird geleitet durch Karsang Lama, einem Thangka Maler in dritter Generation und weltweit anerkannten Experten.
