Ananda Buddhist Centre began life as The Meditation Society of Central Queensland in 1998, which was established by Laurence Khantipalo Mills of Bodhi Citta Buddhist Centre in Cairns, QLD as a result of his visit to Rockhampton. Our new name reflects our commitment to presenting a variety of Buddhist meditation practices for the community in Central Queensland.

Atisha Centre is a calm and peaceful Buddhist retreat and educational facility, nestled in the native Australian bushlands of central Victoria. Founded in 1981 we are a part of the dynamic and inspiring vision of Lama Thubten Yeshe. Atisha Centre is proudly affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) a network of Buddhist centres in Australia and around the world.

The Australian Institute for Consciousness Studies has been established as a nexus for advancing interdisciplinary and cross-cultural understanding that combines scientific and contemplative investigatory knowledge. It is a non-sectarian organization that reaches out to the scientific and academic communities, a variety of contemplative traditions, and the general public. AICS activities focus on the research into the nature, origins, and role of consciousness in human existence and the natural world.

Australian Tibet House Inc (ATH) is a not for profit organisation established in 2009 to preserve and promote Tibetan Culture in Australia. ATH is an Australian organisation funded solely by members and supporters to raise funds to build and administer a Tibetan cultural and community centre on the Northern Beaches peninsula of Sydney.
