To mark the anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest on May 29, 1953, the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) in conjunction with the British Council in Nepal has created an exhibition called Imaging Everest from its collection of approximately 20,000 photographs taken on the nine Mount Everest Expeditions between 1921 and 1953. These expeditions were jointly organized by the Royal Geographical Society and the Alpine Club.

Mission of Refugee Resettlement Watch is to: Educate citizens about Refugee Resettlement Policy of the U.S. Government; Encourage grassroots citizenry to become involved in this issue and by becoming involved help direct the future of your community; Encourage reform of Refugee Resettlement Policy at a national level.

SOS Children's Villages is active in 132 countries and territories worldwide. The variety of this international work is brought together by the umbrella organisation SOS-Kinderdorf International, which unites all of the autonomous national associations. In all countries where SOS Children's Villages operates, the aim is to form a national association which is its own legal entity, with its own statutes and Board of Directors.
