Australia Tibet Council (ATC) works to promote the human rights and democratic freedoms of the Tibetan people. The Norwegian Tibet Committee is a politically independent, nationwide organization formed to work for Tibetan rights. Tibet Committee was established in spring 1989 and has approximately 1500 members. The Norwegian Tibet Committee aims to: Get the Norwegian authorities to recognize Tibet as an occupied country; Inform about violations of human rights, economic exploitation and discrimination against Tibetans; Making Tibet's rich culture known in Norway. ETC is a biennial assembly of all Tibetan Communities in Europe. ETC aims to:
1. Promote the common interests of Tibetans living in Europe
2. Educate Tibetans in Europe of the culture of Democracy and Rule of Law
3. Integrate Tibetans living in Europe to the society of their respective country of residency

Human Rights in China (HRIC), founded by Chinese students and scholars in March 1989, is an international, Chinese, nongovernmental organization with a mission to promote international human rights and advance the institutional protection of these rights in the People’s Republic of China. HRIC’s board and staff include Chinese, North American, and European individuals devoted to fostering greater space for democratic reforms and social justice. The International Tibet Support Network is a vibrant coalition of 168 Tibet groups on six continents. The Network is dedicated to campaigning non-violently to restore the rights that Tibetans lost when China occupied Tibet sixty years ago. The International Tibet Support Network was created to strengthen individual member organisations and to make the Tibet movement as a whole more effective by coordinating powerful strategic campaigns on behalf of the Tibetan people.

Karuna-Shechen is a charitable non-profit association with branches throughout the world. Shechen is an area in eastern Tibet, and karuna means compassion in Sanskrit. We provide education, medical and social services, care of the elderly, and assistance to individuals in need. Matthieu Ricard is the main coordinator for Karuna-Shechen.We have already built over thirty humanitarian projects in our target area - Tibet, Nepal, and India - yet our operating expenses are only 2% of the annual budget of 1.20 million US dollars.
