Created on July 2000, Help and Hope for the Tibetan World is a non lucrative association, dedicated to humanitarian actions. The purpose of the association is to make the public aware of the situation of the Tibetans, to maintain and introduce their cultural inheritage, to provide the children with educational facilities, to help the disabled and old people through: sponsorship,

Amalha Is a Buddhist charitable non-profit organization. Started as private initiative in the late 1990s to come in aid of Tibetan Refugees in India and people from the Himalayas. The American Himalayan Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the people and ecology of the Himalaya. AHF supports projects that are on a human scale and that directly benefit people. We deeply respect our partners in the Himalayas and our work responds to their priorities and concerns. When the association carried out its first mission in 1992 to respond to the call of Tibetan refugees in Nepal and India to save their youth from tuberculosis and preserve their culture, none of us knew where this adventure would lead. Yet, the founding team, around the President, Dr. Yves Lhomelet and Evelyne Charbonnier, organized the association in three natural centers: medical, sustainable development and sponsorships. The idea of creating an association in order to open a dispensary is born after having met an old sick, poor and isolated person living in a village in India. He was called Pema Kalsang. Association's mission is: To help the people in need in India and Tibet like Tibetan, Indian or any other people, concerning health problems, education without distinction of race, sex, cast, religion or political obedience; To contribute to save cultural and local traditions; To give support to people or person whose Human Rights are held up to ridicule and to heighten public awareness and politics; To give any other kind of help needed if asked by the autochthonous.
