The Jamtse Tsokpa Foundation, Association of Compassion, was founded in July of 1997. The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Tibetan refugees who have fled their native land in view of the ever growing oppression in their lives since the People’s Republic of China’s invasion and occupation of Tibet which began in 1949. It is our hope that through linking those in need with those willing to give we are not only helping to sustain the survival of individuals and their culture, but give life.
