Arizona Friends of Tibet is a non-profit organization for people who believe Tibetans are entitled to the basic human rights outlined in the charter of the United Nations. We support the non-violent efforts of the Dalai Lama to regain dignity and religious freedom for the Tibetan people, and to preserve the unique and endangered culture of Tibet and its ancient Buddhist traditions. Former Bay Area Friends of Tibet (BAFoT) President Diane Hume once referred to BAFoT as "the mother redwood tree" in describing the off-shoots of Tibet Support Groups which have sprung up around the Bay Area as a result of work originally started while at BAFoT. BAFoT can point to its own success during the past 22 years by pointing to the success of these organizations whose leaders first worked with BAFoT, organizations including the Tibetan Association of Northern California (TANC), Tibet Justice Center, the Commitee of 100, and others.

Friends of Tibet (NZ) has members throughout the country and is still growing daily. Our 16 page Bi monthly Newsletters goes out to all members in New Zealand and overseas. Complimentary copies are send to Office of Tibet and friends around the world. These newsletter are well received by the members who appreciate the latest information on Tibet.

Friends of Tibet is a people's movement to keep alive the issue of Tibet through direct action. Our activities are aimed at ending China's occupation of Tibet and the suffering of the Tibetan people. Friends of Tibet supports the continued struggle of the Tibetan people for independence. עמותת יטי"ב – ידידי טיבט בישראל, פועלת במטרה לסייע לעם הטיבטי הגולה, ולהעלאת המודעות בישראל לעניין טיבט. העמותה הוקמה על-ידי קבוצת ישראלים שפגשה ב-1989 את הטיבטים שגלו מארצם בעקבות הכיבוש הסיני. הדמיון הרב בין סיפורם לזה של העם היהודי, ובחירת הטיבטים לנהל מאבקם תוך ויתור מכוון על השימוש בכוח, עוררו בנו צורך לסייע להם, שהרי רק לפני כ-60 שנה היינו במקום בו הם נמצאים היום. Los Angeles Friends of Tibet helps preserve the endangered Tibetan culture and supports the Tibetan people's non-violent struggle for freedom and justice. We sponsor activities to educate the public, to generate interest and involvement in Tibet and we are active in the national and international Tibet support movement. Our primary project for 2009 is the production of The Tibet Connection, the only English language radio and Internet news magazine about Tibet.

We would like to invite those who share the same sentiments, (either/both the environmental or the Tibetan issues) to please join us in our future actions/projects here in the queen city of the south. We salute all groups and individuals currently engaged in actions to help preserved and protect the fragile environmental state of the long island of Cebu. To express our solidarity with all the Tibetans (both inside and outside of Tibet) who are at the forefront of this resistance. This movement started from the communist Chinese occupation of their country in 1950's, to the peacefull mass protest actions being held worldwide todate. We remenber all those who have lost and given their lives for this endeavor.
