Tibetan Buddhism

The Benchen Monastery Community is under the spiritual guidance of both His Eminence Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and Venerable Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche. It provides information about the Dharma centers in the East and West which are connected to the Rinpoches. And it provides information about various social welfare projects especially targeted at poor and needy people living in the East.

The Bodhicharya Buddhist Group formed in 1998 under the guidance of Ringu Tulku Rinpoche and is open to all who have an interest in Buddhism and meditation. The Group is associated with Bodhicharya, an international organization that coordinates worldwide activities to preserve and transmit Buddhist teachings; to promote intercultural dialogues; and to implement educational & social projects.

The Bodhicharya Germany eV was founded in 2001. For the purpose of the association and for the purpose of the center include study and practice of Buddhist teachings for cultivating mental peace and stability, inter-cultural exchange and a variety of activities in education, health and social affairs.

Bodhicharya Huttenried, A Center for Practice and Retreat - A Place of Mindfulness and Silence is a Non-Profit and Charitable Foundation for the Support of the Holistic Health of the Human Beings by the Traditional Buddhist Meditation and Spiritual Culture.

This is a Mahayana Buddhist site focusing on the development of Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta is a mind (including thought, feeling and speech) totally dedicated to others and to achieving full enlightenment in order to benefit all sentient beings as fully as possible. Bodhicitta is often called the ‘Wish Fulfilling Jewel’, because like a magic jewel it brings true happiness.

The Bodhisattva Institute is devoted to the practice and study of Tibetan Buddhism, to daily meditations and ongoing teachings, and to firmly planting the Buddha Dharma in the community.

The monastery of Bodong E was established in AD 1049 by Mudra Chenpo – a Kadampa master. It was one of the earliest monasteries of Tibet. It was offered to the great Indian master Pandita Sthira¬pala, alias Trilaksa (Bumtrak Sumpa). The Feast for Scholars authored by Pawo Tsuklak Trengwa (1504-1566) reports that the great master was invited to this place to consecrate the Hundred Thousand Perfection of Wisdom texts written in golden letters.
